Courant Flexbee 11.5mm Lanyard Complete

The Courant Flexbee 11.5mm Lanyard Complete is a lightweight work positioning lanyard developed for professional arborists who need flexibility, precise adjustment, and clear visibility while working in the canopy. Based on the Squir rope construction, the Flexbee is designed to deliver controlled handling and dependable performance during everyday tree work. Supplied as a complete system with Phoenix 8 mm and pulley, it offers a practical balance of comfort, adjustability, and durability for professional positioning tasks.

Work Positioning and Adjustment Performance

The Flexbee is engineered to provide accurate and reliable length adjustment throughout use. A perfectly matched hitch cord works together with the pulley system to allow smooth, progressive repositioning while maintaining consistent control. This adjustment system supports stable work positioning during pruning, cutting, and movement around the tree, helping arborists maintain balance and efficiency when changing stance or working angles.

Rope Construction and Materials

This lanyard is constructed using a 32-strand Squir rope with a diameter of 11.5 mm, offering an effective balance between flexibility and durability. The rope features a polyester sheath combined with a polyamide X-Braid core, supporting consistent handling and resistance to wear during repeated professional use. Two compact sewn eyes create a clean and dependable configuration suited to modern work positioning systems.

Visibility, Compatibility, and Load Rating

High contrast colours are used throughout the Flexbee design to improve visibility, helping arborists clearly identify orientation and positioning during use. The lanyard can be easily disassembled using a chainsaw wrench, supporting straightforward inspection and maintenance on site. It is certified for use with Distel 5-wrap or Valdotain 4+2 knots, as well as Phoenix 8 mm 70 cm, and has a maximum working load of 140 kg, confirming suitability for professional work positioning applications.
