The Combat Application Tourniquet C.A.T - Black is a purpose-built extremity tourniquet designed to rapidly control life-threatening bleeding. The C.A.T GEN7 builds on the proven performance of earlier models with comprehensive component upgrades to support faster and more effective application. Recognised by military and tactical medical professionals, it is designed for dependable performance in demanding conditions. 

Enhanced GEN7 design for improved performance

All six core components of the C.A.T GEN7 have been redesigned. The Single Routing Buckle supports effective slack removal, helping reduce blood loss and minimise required windlass turns. The enlarged windlass rod features increased diameter, enhanced strength, and aggressive ribbing to improve grip. A reinforced windlass strap and strengthened stabilisation plate further support durability and comfort during use.

Secure locking and controlled pressure distribution

The bilateral bevelled windlass clip allows rapid locking and added strength. The patented free-moving internal band ensures even distribution of circumferential pressure around the limb. This design supports consistent occlusion of blood flow in both upper and lower extremities, helping provide reliable haemorrhage control in emergency situations.

Compact and ready for rapid deployment

Designed for true one-handed application, the C.A.T GEN7 is recommended by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care and has been recognised by the U.S. Army. Weighing approximately 86 g and measuring 18 x 7 x 4 cm when packed, it is compact for integration into trauma kits and emergency response setups. The high-visibility orange finish supports rapid identification when time is critical.
