CAMP Tethys 13mm Pulley

The CAMP Tethys 13mm Pulley is a compact and lightweight pulley designed for efficient rope handling in professional climbing, rigging, and rescue applications. Built to carry seamlessly on a harness, it offers practical functionality without unnecessary bulk. Its design supports quick attachment to the rope and controlled operation in light-duty systems where simplicity, reliability, and ease of use are essential.

Compact design for efficient on-harness use

The Tethys is engineered to remain compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry on a harness without interfering with movement. Rotating side plates with a large opening allow straightforward rope insertion and removal, supporting efficient setup during work. The main attachment point is sized to accommodate two carabiners, helping maintain clean and organised connections when building systems on route.

Smooth operation for light-duty applications

Self-lubricated brass bushings support smooth rope travel and deliver an efficiency rating of 80 percent, making the pulley well suited to light applications at low speed. This design provides reliable performance without the need for complex maintenance. The pulley is compatible with ropes up to 13 mm, allowing integration into a wide range of professional setups where compact equipment is preferred.

Durable construction and prusik compatibility

The body and sheave are constructed from aluminium alloy, keeping weight low while maintaining durability, with a stainless steel axle supporting long-term strength. The Tethys is prusik-minding, allowing Prusik knots to be installed on either side of the pulley, with aramid cord suggested. This makes it a practical option for hauling systems built on route, controlled rope management, and crevasse rescue scenarios where adaptability and compact size are important.
