The Arbpro Gemini Spurs Loop is designed to enhance rope ascent when using Distel climbing spurs. Developed to work with the Arbpro Gemini Spurs system, this accessory helps correct alignment issues caused by the shape of the Distel spur shank while also providing a practical attachment point for a knee ascender.

Improved gaff alignment for balanced climbing

When Gemini Spurs are mounted directly to certain H-shaped Distel spur shanks, the gaff may sit slightly inward compared with the opposite foot. The Gemini Spurs Loop addresses this issue using a precisely formed 2 mm stainless steel plate that mounts onto the spur shank. The gaff is then installed onto this plate, ensuring both gaffs sit in the same position and restoring a balanced and familiar climbing stance.

Integrated loop for knee ascender attachment

A key feature of the design is the integrated attachment loop. This loop provides a convenient connection point for attaching a knee ascender, making rope ascents easier and more efficient when using climbing spurs.
