Combining lightweight construction with durable materials, they are built to support efficient movement in the canopy while remaining practical for ground work. Technical sole with dedicated climbing performance The updated Vibram Pepe sole features a honeycomb structure designed to reduce weight while maintaining durability. Made from high friction rubber, it incorporates a dedicated Climbing Zone in the toe area for enhanced grip during ascents and descents. The self-cleaning tread pattern supports traction on varied terrain, while the semi-rigid midsole balances flexibility with underfoot support. Comfort-driven upper construction The upper is crafted from 1.8 mm Perwanger leather with an eVent membrane to provide reliable water resistance. A raised rubber rand reinforces high-wear areas to improve durability. The memory foam insole adapts to the shape of the foot for extended comfort, and the microporous midsole absorbs shock during daily use. An ankle cuff with Cordura fabric offers abrasion resistance while maintaining freedom of movement. Rope-friendly and SRT-ready design The rope-friendly lacing system eliminates metal hooks to help protect climbing lines. Multiple eyelets allow precise tension adjustment across the foot. An integrated Lycra gaiter forms a barrier against dirt and sawdust, and the EZLoop system enables direct SRT use. The front loop is easily replaceable if required, ensuring practical long-term use.
