The Edelrid Cupid Swivel MIX is a compact swivel connector designed to combine secure alignment with flexible connection options in professional climbing and rigging systems. By pairing a closed eyelet on one end with an openable eyelet on the other, it supports clean system layout while allowing components to move freely under load. The ball-bearing-mounted swivel between the two eyelets is engineered to deliver reliable rotation, helping reduce twisting and maintain optimal orientation during use.

Mixed eyelet design for controlled connections

The closed eyelet incorporates an integrated anti-twist protector that secures a clipped carabiner in a stable position. This feature helps maintain correct alignment and reduces the risk of cross loading, supporting safer and more predictable system behaviour. On the opposite side, the openable eyelet provides flexibility for direct attachment, allowing components to be connected or removed without dismantling the wider system.

Reliable swivel performance under load

A small, ball-bearing-mounted swivel connects the two eyelets, delivering smooth and consistent rotation even when subjected to higher loads. This rotation supports free movement between connected elements, helping reduce rope twist and unwanted torsion in complex setups. The swivel design is compact, with overall dimensions of 90 by 50 by 27 mm, making it easy to integrate without adding unnecessary bulk.

Secure locking and certified construction

The openable eyelet uses a mechanical screw locking system that allows repeated opening and closing without the need to replace the screw. This supports long-term usability and straightforward handling during system configuration. Constructed from aluminium, the Cupid Swivel MIX offers a minimum breaking strength of 20 kN. It features inner diameters of 25 mm and 20 mm across the two eyelets, a gate opening of 13 mm on the openable side, and is certified to PPE-R/11.135, confirming suitability for recognised professional applications.
