The DMM Focus Swivel is a compact, retro-fittable swivel connector designed to manage torsion efficiently within professional arborist and rigging systems. Its space-saving form factor allows smooth rotational movement under load, helping prevent rope twist and unwanted system tension. Designed for flexible integration, the Focus Swivel can be added to existing setups without permanent modification, making it suitable for work positioning, rigging, and equipment management where controlled alignment is essential.

Retro-fittable connection for versatile system use

The Focus Swivel uses a two-way locking spindle within the shackle, allowing direct connection to fixed loops such as wire strops, rigging plates, and harness bridges. This design supports quick integration into established systems while maintaining secure attachment. The fixed eye can be clipped, spliced, or swaged in as required, giving users freedom to configure systems to suit specific tasks without compromising predictability or stability.

Compact torsion management with smooth rotation

Engineered to reduce torsional build-up, the swivel incorporates roller thrust bearings that deliver smooth and efficient rotation even under sustained load. Hot forged aluminium shackles are paired with CNC machined swivel bodies to create a strong, textile-friendly interface. Double locking, high tensile stainless steel axles enhance durability, while a user maintainable grease port supports bearing longevity during regular professional use.

Choice of shackle size for controlled loading

The Focus Swivel is available with two interchangeable shackle styles to suit different loading requirements. The D-shaped shackle keeps single attachments neat and predictable, while the bow-shaped shackle provides increased space for more complex configurations with multiple load paths. Both versions offer a minimum breaking strength of 26 kN and a working load limit of 3 kN, with compact dimensions and low weights of 64 g for Focus D and 72 g for Focus Bow depending on configuration.
