The ISC Phlotich Hitch Minding Pulley is a multi-aperture device designed for use in SRT and DdRT climbing systems. Engineered to optimise alignment and reduce clutter within rope wrench and doubled rope configurations, the Phlotich delivers controlled rope management and versatile attachment options.

Profiled side plates and clean alignment

The profiled side plates capture the host line to reduce movement, while mating perfectly parallel to create a clean connection to anchoring karabiners. This design supports seamless use with a twin leg tether in SRT climbing when paired with a rope wrench, helping maintain correct alignment between hitch, pulley and tether.

Multi-aperture functionality

The lower anchor aperture allows full karabiner rotation. The unique kidney-shaped aperture accommodates a wide range of karabiner shapes and supports multiple connectors simultaneously. Karabiners can self-centre under load, improving efficiency during manoeuvres such as limb passing or when climbing to large limbs in DdRT.

Versatile system integration

The kidney aperture also provides an effective anchor point for a sternal device during SRT ascent with a rope wrench. The pulley can be configured as a trolley and is suitable for double crotching or setting up mechanical advantage systems due to its multiple attachment points.
