The FTC Koompassia Gear Bag is a robust, high-capacity equipment bag designed specifically for the daily realities of professional arborist work. Built to handle frequent transport, wet ground, rough terrain, and repeated loading and unloading, it offers a practical solution for carrying, organising, and storing climbing and rigging equipment. The bag can be used upright or fully opened flat, allowing flexible access depending on the working environment.

Durable construction for demanding field use

The Koompassia is constructed using high-resistance materials selected for durability under intensive use. Both bag bottoms are made from reinforced waterproof fabric to resist abrasion and protect contents when placed on dirty or uneven surfaces. The outer fabric is a 50 percent TPU and 50 percent PVC blend, while the inner lining is 100 percent polyester. A 100 % polyester rain cover is included and stored in a dedicated pocket for quick deployment when weather conditions change.

Flexible carrying options and secure closure

The bag offers multiple ergonomic carrying options to suit different transport needs. These include two large lateral handles for shared carrying, a short upper handle for upright lifting, stow-away shoulder straps with Cobra-type metal buckles for backpack carry, and a long shoulder sling for quick movement between sites. Lockable YKK zips allow the bag to be secured with a small padlock, adding security during transport or storage.

Efficient internal organisation and safety features

Inside, the Koompassia is designed to support efficient gear organisation with three zipped pockets, a large mesh pocket under the flap, and a contrasting red internal daisy chain positioned in the corners for fast access to frequently used items. A separate adjustable helmet pocket keeps the helmet isolated from other gear to prevent rubbing and moisture transfer. An integrated emergency card is included and positioned for high visibility and quick access if required.
