The Petzl Caritool – Small is a compact harness-mounted tool holder designed to help climbers and arborists organise essential tools while working at height. It allows tools to be selected and returned using just one hand, supporting efficient movement and reduced disruption during climbing, positioning, or ground-based tasks that require frequent tool access.

One-handed tool management

The Caritool Small is shaped to allow simple one-handed clipping and unclipping of tools, helping maintain workflow while on rope. Its upper section supports grouping and organisation of smaller items, keeping essential tools accessible and neatly arranged throughout the climb. A dedicated hole at the top allows attachment of tool tethers when dropped-object prevention is required.

Stable and secure harness attachment

This tool holder slips directly through harness straps and remains securely positioned thanks to an integrated stabilising clip. Once installed, it stays firmly in place during movement, helping ensure consistent tool access. The gate features an integrated plastic cover that helps limit accidental snagging on ropes, slings, or other equipment.

Compact size for lighter loads

As the smaller option in the Caritool range, this version is designed for lighter tools and minimal bulk. With a maximum recommended load of 5 kg and a weight of 35 g, it adds very little weight to the harness while still providing reliable organisation. The Caritool is intended solely for equipment organisation and is not classified as PPE.
