Three operating modes for versatile rope work

The Roll N Lock offers three distinct modes of operation, allowing it to adapt to a wide range of situations. It can be used as a rope ascender in accordance with EN 567 and EN 12841-B standards, supporting efficient upward movement. By locking the cam, it can also function as a simple pulley for lifting or transferring loads in line with EN 12278 requirements. In progress-capture hauling pulley mode, it enables lifting, hauling system creation, and rescue or self-rescue operations.

Controlled rope movement and progress capture

When used in pulley mode, the rope is free to run in both directions, allowing smooth lifting or redirection. In hauling pulley mode, the rope travels in one direction only and locks in the opposite direction, providing secure progress capture during lifting or rescue operations. This controlled behaviour supports predictable performance when managing loads or assisting a person in emergency situations.

Intuitive handling in challenging conditions

The redesigned body and contrasting side plate colours make mode selection clearer and more intuitive during use.
