The splice is designed to remain extremely compact, with no widening of the rope diameter and only a minimal increase in thickness at the splice eye. This allows the splice to pass smoothly through most common SRT and DRT devices, removing the need to manually pull the rope through equipment during system setup and transitions.

Certified strength and durable construction

The SPLY splice provides added safety by allowing part of the rope core to pass through the entire splice eye, contributing to structural integrity. Each splice is handmade to ensure a clean and consistent termination. The rope features a polyester and polyamide construction with a core proportion of 55 percent and a sheath proportion of 45 percent. It weighs 94 g per metre, has a minimum breaking strength of 25 kN, and is certified to EN 1891 Type A as a Static A rope, supporting professional arborist use.
