The ZigZag PLUS operates using a technique identical to a traditional Prusik pulley system, making it intuitive for experienced climbers. The device locks automatically on the rope as the friction chain extends, providing immediate response and dependable security. Rope feed is smooth and precise, with speed controlled by adjusting pressure on the release lever, allowing the climber to fine-tune movement during positioning and transitions.

Efficient rope handling and stable positioning

A pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings allows slack to be taken up easily, reducing effort during repeated movements. The separated and curved side plates improve rope flow and contribute to long-term wear resistance. A lower attachment hole fitted with a high-efficiency swivel ensures stable alignment of the device and supports optimal rope glide, helping maintain consistent orientation during work positioning and limb walking.

Versatile setup for doubled or single rope systems

The ZigZag PLUS can be used on doubled rope systems or adapted for single rope techniques when combined with compatible accessories. An upper attachment hole supports correct rope end positioning on doubled rope systems or connection of an auxiliary braking device for single rope use. An additional attachment hole allows integration of a lanyard or a secondary system, supporting flexible and efficient work setups in a wide range of tree care scenarios.
