The Petzl Sequoia Shoulder Straps are a comfortable harness accessory built for use with SEQUOIA and SEQUOIA PLUS tree care harnesses. Designed to improve weight distribution and climbing comfort, these shoulder straps transfer part of the load from the waistbelt to the shoulders while also providing connection points for SRS ascent systems when configured in Torso mode.

The padded shoulder strap design helps distribute the weight of climbing equipment more evenly across the upper body, reducing pressure on the waistbelt during prolonged periods in the harness. Widely spaced shoulder straps improve comfort by reducing neck chafing, while the lightweight construction minimises additional bulk. Compatible integration with harness and ascent systems

The Sequoia Shoulder Straps connect quickly to compatible harnesses using three webbing attachment points and supplied MINO accessory carabiners. Their modular design allows them to be converted into Torso mode, enabling integration with SRS ascent systems. When configured in this way, the straps help keep the ascent system correctly positioned during climbing, supporting efficient rope progression and improved equipment management.
