The DMM Kinisi Max Climbing Harness is a modular sit harness developed for professional tree care, aerial work, and rescue applications where durability, adaptability, and long-term comfort are essential. Designed through a collaboration between DMM and Treemagineers, it reflects decades of experience in professional harness development. Manufactured entirely at DMM’s facility in North Wales, the harness is built to meet high standards of consistency, strength, and textile-friendly performance for demanding working environments.

Modular design for positioning and adaptability

The Kinisi Max is built around a modular structure that allows the harness to be configured to suit different working styles and body positioning requirements. Two forward Ds provide suspension attachment points and can be positioned to suit the user’s centre of gravity, while two side rings support work positioning tasks. A patented rope bridge adjuster allows easy configuration for comfort and optimised positioning, with compatibility for one or two rope bridges in different lengths. A rear restraint point is easy to locate and also serves as a secure attachment for a chainsaw lanyard.

Comfort focused construction for extended use

User comfort is supported through padded waist and leg sections that distribute weight over a large surface area. Structural webbing is woven through a supporting material and padded with foam, then reduced in bulk where movement would otherwise be restricted. Sliding aluminium buckles allow smooth adjustment while remaining hardwearing in daily use. Adjustable leg elastics help maintain leg pad position, improve mobility, and can be replaced to extend the working life of the harness.

Durable components with replaceable elements

The harness is designed to last, with textile-friendly hardware that helps reduce webbing wear over time. Multiple components are replaceable, including pads, elastic keeper loops, leg elastics, rear elastics, riser webbing, rope bridges, and bridge hardware. Movable webbing stoppers allow excess webbing to be managed neatly without compromising safety. The Kinisi Max has been independently evaluated against multiple international performance standards, supporting its use across a wide range of professional applications.
