The Stihl Light P04 3/8" P .050 Chainsaw Bar is an ultra-lightweight guide bar designed to improve handling and reduce fatigue during cutting. Built with an advanced multi-material construction, it offers excellent balance and efficiency for professional and regular users.

Ultra-lightweight construction for improved handling

The bar body is made from three steel plates that are hollowed out and electrically welded together. The internal cavities are filled with glass fibre reinforced polyamide, resulting in a significantly lighter design that improves manoeuvrability.

Reduced weight for less fatigue

Up to 30% lighter than the Light 04 guide bar in equivalent length, the Light P04 reduces strain during extended use. This helps improve comfort and control, particularly during detailed or repetitive cutting tasks.

Efficient cutting performance

The guide bar features a 3/8" P sprocket nose with 9 teeth and a 1.3 mm (.050") groove width. This supports smooth chain movement and efficient cutting performance when paired with compatible chains.

Compatible with 3/8" Picco systems

This bar is designed for use with 3/8" Picco chains, including Stihl Picco Super 3, Picco Micro 3, Picco Duro and Picco Super chains in the correct specification.
